New Hair Salon Opening on Northside Drive

A new hair salon is underway in northwest Atlanta.

A vacant commercial space at 1700 Northside Drive NW is being renovated into Studio Fringe, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The salon will be at the Berkeley Heights apartment complex, at the corner of Bellemeade Avenue and Northside Drive.

The space for the salon is 940 square feet, and the scope of electrical and plumbing work includes the installation of shampoo stations and several outlets for dryers and styling stations.

Owner Brittany Matthews said Studio Fringe is expected to be open by the end of December.
