Brian Weisnicht and Farrell Harrison might have built their identity on tapas-style dining, but the duo behind the popular plates restaurant is preparing to open a French-influenced concept called Le Moyne Bistro in the former Tommy’s Cuisine at 746 Tchoupitoulas St. The partners will also open a concept called Marie’s Oyster Bar in the attached lounge space at 752 Tchoupitoulas St., which had been N.O.S.H. According to NOLA.com, the oyster bar is slated to open in late January, and the bistro has an opening date set for February.

The openings will mark a changing of the guard for a couple of addresses that had been associated with restauranteur Tommy Andrade. He opened Tommy’s Cuisines in 2003 and later opened Tommy’s Wine Bar in the adjacent space.  Andrade sold both restaurants in 2016 and the wine bar became the lounge concept N.O.S.H. in 2017 under that new ownership.
