Parlor Doughnuts, known for its unique, layered doughnuts with a crispy exterior and flaky interior, is set to open its first Orange County location in Laguna Niguel. The Orange County Register reports the concept will be up and running sometime in January.

The Indiana-based chain is expanding its footprint, with this marking its fourth California location, joining stores in Oceanside, Solana Beach, and San Diego. It’s the company’s first in Orange County, and will be located in the Aliso Village Shopping Center at 23870 Aliso Creek Road, Suite B.

Doug Jolley, a Laguna Beach resident, is the franchisee for the Laguna Niguel location. He has a background as a teacher and played in the NFL. Jolley told What Now OC he is actively hiring about a dozen employees for the store.

“We are thrilled to bring Parlor’s products, brand, and mission to Orange County, CA – a region that enjoys delicious food, beautiful weather, and clear blue water,” he said. “One of our key values is to create a place that facilitates conversation and community. Where friends and families of all ages can gather in a vintage American space that feels like an old parlor.”
