There’s something exciting on the horizon for New Jersey carnivores. The popular Texas Roadhouse chain is making moves to open a new location in Marlton, reports local media outlet 42Freeway.

The beloved restaurant’s new home at 970 N Route 73 last housed a TGI Friday’s. While the building is outfitted as an eatery, Texas Roadhouse adheres to a rather specific design motif, suggesting the buildout may take awhile. The brand is still in the early stages of establishing its Marlton location, making it impossible to estimate an opening date.

Founded in 1983, the first Texas Roadhouse opened, unexpectedly, in Indiana. The chain has expanded to include a staggering 772 locations across the globe.

Texas Roadhouse has earned a considerable fanbase through its commitment to scratch made dishes, cooked fresh. The menu focuses heavily on steak, but meat-eaters will find plenty of satisfying options to choose from, including burgers, ribs, and chicken.
