Moe’s Southwest Grill is set to open on Friday, Dec. 13, in Goodyear. The Atlanta-based fast-casual restaurant will be located at Pebble Creek Marketplace (15611 West McDowell Rd.) and is the first of five locations planned by local franchisees, Tony and Namit Mangat.
Tony and Namit, a father-son team, bring experience from a variety of industries including real estate, construction, and trucking. They partnered with GoTo Foods, the parent company of Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Schlotzsky’s, to introduce Moe’s Southwest Grill to Arizona.
“We’re thrilled to bring Moe’s quality and fresh southwestern food to Arizona and look forward to becoming part of the Goodyear community,” said franchisor and restaurant manager, Namit Mangat in a statement. “After years of experience in the commercial real estate and trucking industry, I’m eager to step into this entrepreneurial role in an industry I’m passionate about.”
The grand opening celebration will kick off at 11 a.m. and will feature a DJ and giveaways, including free burritos for a year* for the first 50 people in line. Attendees will also have their chance at the prize wheel for additional fun surprises.
In addition to the grand opening celebration, Moe’s Goodyear will host a toy drive from Dec. 16-21. Any guest who donates a new, unwrapped toy during this period will receive a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) Entree on us coupon**, valid through the end of 2025.
Tony and Namit plan to open their second location, complete with a Cinnabon Swirl, in Peoria, Arizona by summer 2025, followed by another in Tempe, Arizona.
