According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery, Extreme Pizza, is gearing up to debut in Berkeley.

Coming to 2360 Shattuck Avenue, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Endless Summer Sweets, La Note, and Nikko Sushi.

The concept’s co-owner, Preet Kaur, tells What Now San Francisco, “We will have a variety of pizzas… we offer an Indian-type of pizza, a pesto pizza, a taste of the Middle East pizza,” to name just a few, which can be paired with a selection of 15 to 20 different dressings made in house. Additionally, the restaurant will offer subs, wings, salads, beer, and wine.

The space will boast a beer bar, a few televisions, and indoor seating, “but we are working to have outdoor dining as well,” she says.

Kaur shares, “We are hoping for a January 6 soft opening.” Stay tuned for updates.
