Experienced husband and wife restaurateur team, Brittany and Ed Cabigao of SOB Hospitality Group, are taking the helm at the lively breakfast-all-day concept The Liquor Store, located at 2655 Broad Avenue.

The Cabigaos currently operate two locations of their flagship restaurant, South of Beale, in East Memphis and Downtown, plus a third coming soon to Collierville, and they are ready for something altogether new.

The Liquor Store restaurant offers the opportunity to take on an established five-year-old diner with a fun, friendly reputation within the Binghampton neighborhood community.

The Liquor Store restaurant, founded in 2018 by Lisa and Luis Toro, takes its name from the site’s humble beginnings as The Broad Ave Liquor Store. Featuring brunch, beer and cocktails, the popular diner operates within the original liquor store building lit up by the classic neon “liquor” sign.

“We transformed the former Broad Ave Liquor Store into a fun and cozy diner + bar to bring you tropical vibes, comfort food & brunch cocktails seven days a week. We even put a patio on that thing…” quips the website

Ed and Brittany Cabigao did not return a request for comment.

Fresh favorites include The Cuban sandwich made with bread baked onsite every week, Biscuit Beignets, classic Steak and Eggs, and a decadent Raspberry Donut Cheesecake dessert. Patrons may wish to add a Breakfast Shot complete with Irish whiskey, butterscotch, strip of bacon, and orange juice, or a brunching Bloody Mary, among other tempting options.
