Club 240, a South Memphis nightclub and lounge, is gearing up to reopen its doors at 1470 Elvis Presley Blvd, following a closure that lasted roughly two years. While owner Terrence Sledge has been discreet about specifics, he did offer some insights into what patrons can expect from the revamped establishment.

Sledge said that initially, Club 240 will operate as a bar and lounge, with the possibility of introducing a food menu down the line. “We want people to have somewhere to go in terms of relaxation after a hard day at work,” he told What Now Memphis.

As the reopening process is still in its early stages, a grand opening date has not yet been set. As Club 240 prepares to reopen its doors, South Memphis can expect a revitalized gathering place for relaxation and enjoyment.
