A new bar/tavern may soon open at the thriving Broad Avenue Arts District in Midtown.

David Yancy III, who already operates a tattoo and piercing shop in the same building, has applied for a Special Use Permit to establish Hollywood at 485 N Hollywood St. The bar would be directly attached to his existing tattoo shop, creating a unique combination of nightlife and art.

If approved, Hollywood will offer both food and drinks. The proposed hours of operation are until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Situated in a lively area bordered by Broad Avenue, Hollywood Street, and Parkway Place, the bar promises to enhance the eclectic atmosphere of the district.

While Yancy confirmed this news with What Now Memphis, he has not yet provided additional details or an opening timeline.
