According to a recent article from Block Club Chicago, Parson’s Chicken in Ukrainian Village will now be Dicey’s, located at 2109 W Chicago Ave.
“We are hoping for an early 2024 opening date,” Carrie Sloan, Director of Marketing and PR of Land and Sea who launched Dicey’s, told What Now Chicago.
“Dicey’s specializes in tavern-style pizza but also serves high-quality salads and other snacks. There’s also a selection of choice beers, slushies, some cocktails and shots, and a totally decent range of natural and organic wines. The space will feature a patio and also have a fireplace for the winter months.”
When it comes to Land and Sea Dept., they describe themselves as not your typical studio; it is a dynamic concept and project development hub where creativity knows no bounds, and diverse disciplines intersect harmoniously. Founded by four visionaries, Cody Hudson, Jon Martin, Robert McAdams, and Peter Toalson, they state that they bring together a wealth of experiences in fields ranging from art, construction, and design to event production, identity, marketing, music, and woodworking.
The studio is said to be a perpetual generator of concepts, ideas, and projects, each with its unique practicality, scope, and size. These endeavors are “not mere assignments”; they are passion projects that fuel the creative spirit of the team, according to the company website.
