According to a recent permit filing, Little Madrid will expand to 5663-5665 North Clark Street in the Edgewater area.
A representative of Little Madrid was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.
While an official opening date and what the permit filing entails for Little Madrid, according to the company website, “In January 2020, Little Madrid Tapas Café opened in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, a small, cozy, and colorful space.”

The chef and owner of Little Madrid, according to the website, is Francisco Bolaños. “Francisco Bolaños fell in love with traditional Spanish cuisine at a young age.”
