Chapel Street Cafe & Restaurant Aims to Debut At the Hilton Chicago

According to a recent permit filing, Chapel Street Cafe & Restaurant has filed for 198 E Delaware Place, also known as Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile Suites.

A representative of Chapel Street Cafe & Restaurant was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Chicago’s request.

Chapel Street’s website states the concept will be authentic Australian in downtown Chicago. Chapel Street’s opening date will be sometime in the fall of this year.

Chapel Street was filed for under Chapel Street, LLC. Three people are listed to be behind Chapel Street: Rose Rollins, Sebastian Drapac, and Shawn Uldridge.

According to Loop Net, the property has a “Fully built-out restaurant space available at the base of the 345-room Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites; Southern Cut BBQ formerly occupied space.”

The hotel was built in 1989 and was renovated back in 2014. “3,500 SF ground floor corner plus 400 SF lower level storage/office area and 790 SF second floor kitchen prep area.”
