Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is bringing southern biscuits and “righteous chicken” to 2414 Victory Park Lane around February 2024, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The location is undergoing an $400K remodel before opening.

This location is part of a 20-unit expansion into the Dallas metro, headed by franchisees, Ashwin Reddy and Isha Vedire, QSR reports.  This is a departure from the outpatient behavioral practice previously established by the two franchisees.

According to the Rise website, the company has been serving “the best dang biscuits and beyond” since 2012 with the mission of serving “great food made with premium quality ingredients by people who care.”

Rise now has 19 locations across North Carolina, Kansas, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee and California — and now, is expanding into Texas. The menu includes an array of southern biscuit selections like Avocado Toast with tomato and fried egg, Sweet Country Blues with sausage on a glazed blueberry biscuit, Fried Green Tomato with southern pimento cheese, and much more.
