Bagel Bar is a new concept coming to 4622 Windhaven Parkway #200 in The Colony. Owner Salima Ali told What Now Dallas it is the first location, born out of the former Subway franchisee’s desire to set a higher standard of business, food, and customer service. Bagel Bar aims to open early next year.
“We wanted the freedom to be the decision makers,” Salim told What Now Dallas. “This is a mom and pop shop. It is woman-owned, and will be a business that empowers other women.”
The menu is — you guessed it — bagel-based. It will feature sweet and savory options for breakfast and brunch, all presented in a trendy bar-like setting.
“There will be seating around the bar, fresh drip coffee, and specialty drinks,” Salima told What Now Dallas. “It will be very on-trend, with a flower wall where we hope people will enjoy taking pictures for social media.”
