Former Dallas Cowboy’s coach, Jason Garrett, and restaurateur Julian Barsotti are partnering to open Italian concept, Caffe Lucca in mid-2024.

Barsotti is known for — you guessed it — Barsotti’s Italian eatery in Dallas, previously known as Carbone’s which serves irresistible classics with the charm of Tony Bennett.

In a recent article by Dallas News, Barsotti said Caffe Lucca will serve breakfast, lunch, cocktails and dinner, along with specialties like house-made ricotta and meatballs.

This will be Garrett’s first restaurant endeavor, though the former coach, now commentator has known Barsotti for around a decade. In the same article, Garrett expressed interest in the idea of “creating an intentional spot for Dallasites to gather, whether they drink coffee or not.”

Social media and website for the cafe have yet to be established.
