RODEO GOAT, known for house-ground patties, cold beer, boozy libations, hand punched fries and friendly folks is now open in Addison (14941 Midway Road close to Beltline Road).

Offerings include the Bodacious Burger, a beef patty topped with American cheese, bacon, crispy onions, grilled jalapeños, pickles, smoked jalapeño mayo and bodacious BBQ sauce and the Nanny Goat topped with herb goat cheese, bibb lettuce, beefsteak tomato, onion and garlic-herb mayo are featured in addition to hearty salads, sides, sweets and shakes.

Vegetarian options are available including the Neil Young with a homemade vegan patty, hydroponic sprouts, beefsteak tomato, avocado and green goddess dressing. ALL burgers can be made with chicken, turkey, vegan or Impossible patties and served “nekked” on lettuce or in a bowl.

Rodeo Goat pays homage to former Addison mayor Joe Chow with a namesake burger topped with Irish whiskey cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry compote, shredded lettuce and whole-grain mustard.

The menu offers domestic and imported brews with a large selection of Texas craft beers, wines available by the glass, and “goated cocktails” featuring signature concoctions such as the “Fainting Goat” crafted from Revolver Blood and Honey, vodka and orange, the “Moontang” with Firefly Moonshine, Tang and “other things” and the “Rattlesnake,” a boozy sangria and margarita swirl.

A grand opening celebration will be held Tuesday, October 15 from 5:30pm-8:00pm with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Metrocrest Services Food Pantry. Minimum donation is $25 per person. For additional details and to purchase tickets go to https://tinyurl.com/msrodeogoataddison.
