As Colorado awaits its first Woods Supermarket to come to Johnstown, exciting news about the concept has come out. The business will have a bar and a sushi bar within it, according to Retro 102.5.
The new store, at 826 W South 1st St. in the Ledge Rock Center, will feature a 20-tap bar with local microbrews and a sushi bar with freshly prepared options, elevating the grocery shopping experience for patrons.
CEO Frank Archer told What Now Denver the construction site is very active, with the exterior of the building near completion. He said inclement weather over the last six months has caused minor delays, and the store is slated to open in the second half of 2024.
“We are excited to be a part of the Johnstown community and become a highlight of hospitality across Colorado. We want to thank the community for its support and our partners for helping bring this experience to Johnstown,” said third-generation Owner and President Jeff Woods.
