According to Colorado Beer Geek, a brewery will be added to the 4th & Main Downtown Grille property (402 Main St.) in Wray. While still a ways out from being ready to serve beer, the establishment will eventually be a welcome addition to the small town’s scene.
Flirtation Point Brewery is the exciting new venture of EJ Carpenter, the owner of 4th & Main Downtown Grille, Tavern 1301 in Lamar, and The Dish Room in Burlington. Carpenter shared with What Now Denver that the business is expected to be up and running in the next 18 months.
The concept will reportedly share a space with the restaurant, which has served the community since 2006. It’s known as a great spot for all-American eats and drinks, and was recognized as a Neighborhood Fav on Nextdoor in 2024.
Records and posts from a few years ago show that the venture has been in the works for a while. City documents from 2021 show that the business was granted a brewpub license after the motion passed unanimously, and Facebook posts from that year also show construction work being done.
