Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has submitted plans to build a new restaurant to replace the Rio Bravo building in Hendersonville.

The Tennessean reports the fast food chain will build a 2,843-square-foot restaurant that will include a drive-through.

Raising Cane’s originally opened in 1996 inside an old building at the North Gates of Louisiana. Founder Todd Graves came up with the idea of a restaurant that only serves Chicken Fingers two years earlier.

Today, the restaurant has about 600 restaurants across the country, including locations in Cookeville and Knoxville.

Earlier this year, the fast food chain revealed it will open three new locations in the Nashville market, according to Nashville Business Journal.

Raising Cane’s didn’t respond to queries for comments by time of publication.
