The amount of Dunkin’ locations across Middle Tennessee is about to ramp up.

Catalano Companies, owned by Steve Catalano, operates a number of Dunkin’ and Baskin Robbins locations in Tennessee and Massachusetts. The company recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest location at 191 Burkitt Commons Ave in Nolensville, TN that What Now Nashville previously reported about.

On the heels of this grand opening comes news that the Catalano franchise is planning to open more locations within the upcoming years. Jessica Halloran, who works on the operations team at Catalano Companies, confirmed to What Now Nashville that there are “lots of new restaurants in the queue,” although declined to give specific details of the locations of these new restaurants, likely due to being early in the stages of development.

It’s possible that the areas of expansion may include suburbs like Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Mt. Juliet, Hendersonville, and Belle Meade, which have all seen a recent rise in restaurant growth.

“Nashville is one of the top growing markets in the country. The economy is diverse and expanding rapidly, which obviously, we like. They aren’t dependent on one industry and the state is incredibly business-friendly,” Catalano stated in a blog for Dunkin’ Donuts Independent Franchise Owners.

Dunkin’ Donuts is most well-known for its affordable, largely-portioned coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and 50+ varieties of donuts. There are more than 11,300 Dunkin’ restaurants worldwide, including over 8,500 restaurants in 41 states across the U.S. and over 3,200 international restaurants across 36 countries, according to its website.
