This fall, a new barbecue joint is coming to the Nashville suburb of White Bluff. Pig N Pub will replace the former site of Carl’s Perfect Pig located at 4991 US-70.

According to an article in The Tennessean, owner Michael Johnson aims to make the place a local staple, combining “Southern restaurant charm with beach bar vibes.” This is Johnson’s first restaurant endeavor, however, he is already a local small-business owner with his roofing company, JWC Specialities.

Though there is no official grand opening date and the restaurant will be undergoing heavy construction, the expected timeline of opening Pig N Pub is sometime this fall. The restaurant does not currently have a website or any social media channels created yet.

To add to the ambiance, Johnson is planning to add an area with live music as well as a karaoke machine, jukebox, and other music options. Other entertainment options will include outdoor and indoor activities, such as corn hole, video games at tables, TVs, and more. The restaurant is aiming to appeal to bikers, car enthusiasts, tourists, and locals alike.

When it comes to the food, the menu is still in the process of fine-tuning. However, Johnson gave a sneak preview to The Tennessean and shared his plans to serve barbecued pulled pork and ribs, beef brisket, chicken, roast beef, smoked fish, and a few other specialties. The restaurant will also have a liquor license, according to the article.

“The plan is to be a go-to spot for dining entertainment,” Johnson told The Tennessean.
