Santa Monica’s specialty coffee concept Love Coffee Bar is getting ready to expand to a new location in Mar Vista at 3519 S Centinela Ave.

The company’s second location will move into the former home of a few pizza restaurants, such as Numero Uno and Roma Specialty Pizza. It’s unknown exactly when the company will open this location, but a sign on the window notes that they are currently hiring, according to Toddrickallen. Founder Kambiz Hemati launched the original site at 1732 Ocean Park Boulevard, along with the help of director of business operations Sharon Wenzel and coffee director Darrell Baskin.

Love Coffee Bar partners with creative California-based coffee roasters, tea artisans, designers, creators, and storytellers to create a welcoming environment for humans and their furry friends. The original Santa Monica location has gained a reputation for being good to dogs. Since launching a few years ago, several publications have spotlighted this excellent coffee spot, such as goop and US Weekly.

If the dog-friendly cafe wasn’t enough, Love Coffee Bar proudly believes that “coffee deserves love.” This clearly translates to the company’s products. When this new location opens, customers can expect some of the freshest coffee in the area, including espresso, chai, and various teas. There are also likely to be a few snacks available for purchase.
