Juicy Ladies — an LA-based health and wellness concept helmed by Magal Nagar and Kinzie Oppenheim — is opening a third outpost at the former Bud’s Deli space at 2727 Ocean Boulevard in Santa Monica. The woman-owned and operated eatery also has Woodland Hills and Pacific Palisades outposts.

Sadly, Bud’s Deli closed in November of 2022 after 35 years in business. The beloved breakfast and sandwich joint blamed “issues with the lease” for the vacancy, and the building was gutted shortly after.

Fortunately, the space will be occupied by another passion project that’s been years in the making. Nagar and Oppenheim launched their juicy journey over a decade ago with the aim of bringing fresh organic “food you can trust” to The City of Angels. The expansive menu offers juice-driven detox programs, nutrient-dense breakfast items, lunch, dinner, and an array of hot & cold drinks geared toward serving the body. What’s more, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, and keto options are all available in addition to JL’s commitment to sustainability.
