A branch of Panda Express will soon touch down on the corner of Lincoln and Washington Boulevard in Venice at the former Yellow Fever space, as first reported by Toddrickallen.com.

The massive chain recently hung a “coming soon” sign on the exterior of the building, but the interior appears gutted, says TRA, suggesting an opening date may be far off.

Similar to Panda Express, Yellow Fever was a counter-service spot offering Asian bowls comprised of meat and veggies. It’s presently unknown why the concept shuttered its doors.

With over 2,200 locations, Panda Express is the largest Asian-segment restaurant chain in the United States. The menu popularly serves dishes like orange chicken, beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken, kung pao chicken, and honey walnut shrimp alongside sides like fried rice, chow mein, egg rolls, and desserts. Its offerings can be enjoyed as a bowl, plate, “larger” plate, a la carte, or family style.

The incoming Panda Express will join a handful of popular concepts on the busy boulevard like Jersey Mike’s, Naab Mediterranean Grill, and The Lincoln.
