Smoking Tiger, a coffee and pastry brand with multiple SoCal locations, is preparing to open a new location in Garden Grove sometime this year, according to the company’s website. While no address has been disclosed, the community is excited to welcome a new retailer.

Originally opened in 2020, the company has a Korean cafe influence, with drinks and pastries flavored with Black Sesame, Yuzu, Mugwort, and Korean Honey Oat. Its menu features classic coffee drinks, matcha, oat lattes, and more.

Its website calls the concept “a space where people of all ages can come together to create shared memories and embrace cultural differences without barrier” and says that “sharing our heritage is pivotal in our customer’s experience.”

The brand also has additional locations planned for Rowland Heights, Monterey Park, Pomona, and Torrance. Additionally, What Now OC found plans filed with the city for another new store in Huntington Beach as well.
