Rally, a brand new urban pickleball and entertainment experience, is getting ready to make its debut in Charlotte, located at 101 Southside Dr.
The new pickleball facility, which will feature a full-service restaurant, will open at the corner of Old Pineville Road and Southside Drive on June 20, according to Axios. Rally will have 27,650 square feet of indoor space in two buildings over 1.9 acres. On top of the full-service restaurant with elevated cuisine, the facility will feature two cocktail bars, a specialty coffee program, private and semi-private event spaces, and lounge and spectator seating.
Rally co-founders Barrett Worthington and Megan Charity recently hired former Top Chef contestant Cory Chunn to be the restaurant’s executive chef. Guests can expect acai bowls from the in-house cafe, hand-crafted cocktails in the Annex, and brick oven pizza at the court. The company also offers a bar program designed by an award-winning mixologist. This is perfect for anyone before or after using the four indoor or four outdoor pickleball courts.
“Rally was founded by a team of foodies who believe you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your culinary standards to enjoy a night of active entertainment,” according to the company’s website. “Our menu is elevated yet approachable, featuring global-inspired street food and Neapolitan-style pizza cooked to perfection in our showcase brick oven. Rally is where active people socialize, and social people move.”
