After serving the community for almost three decades, Lake Wylie Pizza & Italian Restaurant is getting ready to expand into York with a new location at 1075 Filbert Hwy.

The company’s second location will move into the former home of R&B Pub House in the Food Lion-anchored shopping center at the corner of Highway 321 and Alexander Love Highway, according to a social media post announcing the new site. Owner Huseyin Yem tells What Now Charlotte that he hopes to open the new location around mid-March 2024. Lake Wylie Pizza and Italian Restaurant has been a fan-favorite since 1995.

When the restaurant opens sometime next month, customers can expect plenty of delicious Italian classics, such as spaghetti with meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, baked ziti, ravioli, and more. On top of pizzas and other Italian entrees, the restaurant’s menu also features a variety of salads, burgers, sandwiches, and more. The family-friendly restaurant also offers options for takeout or delivery as well.

“In addition to our broad selection of traditional Italian fare, our restaurant offers lunchtime favorites and a dessert menu that we leave your mouth watering,” according to the company’s website. “We offer freshly prepared menu items in a casual atmosphere that is perfect for both kids and adults. Visit our location for either lunch or dinner and bring along everyone in the family. We make everything fresh, and we cut all of our meats for sandwiches right here in our kitchen. Our general manager and chef are focused on preparing the most satisfying meal you can possibly eat.”
