Caribou Coffee is continuing its expansion in North Carolina, with a new spot in the works at 2521 Eastchester Drive in High Point.

Construction on the lot, which will also house a Slim Chickens, began earlier this month.

The Caribou Coffee location will be a 532-square-foot space, according to the Triad Business Journal. The spot will offer a walk-up window and a drive-thru, as well as outdoor seating, according to the Caribou Coffee website.

Caribou Coffee has 813 locations internationally and has been expanding in the state in recent months, with several locations in the works in the Triad area and a growing presence in the Charlotte market, including a spot announced for Birkdale Place in Huntersville earlier this year.

Caribou Coffee serves a variety of handcrafted espresso drinks and blended beverages, including signature items like the berry white mocha and Caribou Cooler blended beverages. It also serves fruit shakers and energy drinks.

A spokesperson for Caribou Coffee confirmed in an email to What Now Charlotte that the High Point location will be a company-owned store. She also shared that as of now, the company has no exact timeline to share regarding when the spot will open.

It is listed as “coming soon” on the Caribou Coffee website.
