NoDa Brewing Company has new plans for its location in North End amid a series of changes for the brand.
It closed its “OG” taproom on North Davidson Street in June and underwent a rebrand earlier this year, as previously reported by What Now Charlotte. Now, the brand is planning to open a new restaurant to supplement the taproom at its North End location at 150 W 32nd St.
While details remain scarce regarding design and menu, the brewery is working with a local restaurant group and is expected to begin buildout in early 2025, according to Axios Charlotte. In tandem with the restaurant, NoDa Brewing Company will also roll out a cocktail menu alongside its beer offerings in 2025.
NoDa Brewery opened in fall 2011, helmed by co-owners Suzie Ford, Todd Ford and Chad Henderson. In addition to the North End location that opened in 2015, the brewery has a spot in the Charlotte-Douglas Airport.
The addition of the restaurant comes as a result of the company’s need to differentiate itself from other breweries and to compete with other restaurants, Jacob Virgil, strategic development director for NoDa Brewing, told Axios Charlotte.
What Now Charlotte reached out to the ownership team but could not obtain a comment by the time of publication.
