A new Italian restaurant is planning an opening before the end of this year in Venice. Acqua Pazza Coastal Italian Restaurant will open in Venice’s Wellen Park development, at 19750 Wellen Park Blvd., #D.
What Now reached out on Tuesday to co-owner Dennis Valentino to inquire about plans for Acqua Pazza. Valentino declined to comment on the restaurant at this time.
This leaves us with some questions about the restaurant’s menu and brand profile. Lucky for us, the project has an evocative name. Acqua Pazza—literally, “crazy water” in Italian—refers to white fish poached in herbed broth, or simply to the broth. We’re expecting seafood-focused Italian cuisine.
Acqua Pazza Coastal Italian Restaurant will join several food and drink spots located on Wellen Park Boulevard between Sunglow Boulevard and Springtide Way. These include Villani & Co. Steak Seafood and Raw Bar, Foxtail Coffee, and Bright Ice Scoop Shop.
The restaurant’s page on WellenPark.com shows a projected opening in October 2023.
