Right by the water, at 9024 W Hillsborough Ave, your favorite spot for watersports, eats, drinks, and fun in the sun is preparing to launch this February. Called Tiki Bay Watersports, the new waterfront spot for fun invites you to “Eat, Drink, Play at Tiki Bay.”
“We’re going after a chill, tiki, beachy vibe,” Michael, who owns Tiki Bay, told What Now on Tuesday. “We’ll have food trucks there, a margarita/tiki-type bar, a small beach area where we brought sand in, and tiki huts. It’s a really unique concept for over here.”
Tiki Bay will be have jetskis, paddle boats, and other water-based fun, and will also be available for special events like bachelorette parties and anything that goes well with a view of the sunset. On the food and drink side, expect several different cuisines served out of food trucks, plus a bar offering classic cocktails like Margaritas, Long Island Ice Teas, Sex on the Beach, and Bahama Mamas, served up with coconuts and pineapples as drinking vessels.
“For food we’ve got Indian cuisine, we’ve got Italian, and we’ve got American—burgers, hot dogs, fries, that sort of thing,” said Michael. “We’re also putting together a contract for a slushy/ice cream/snow cone vendor.”
One last thing to remember: first responders and military members will receive a 30% discount!
