A growing local seafood empire will be helping Arlington ring in 2025. King Street Oyster Bar, a DMV area favorite, is opening a new location of its celebrated raw bar at National Landing early next year, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The restaurant will have a dedicated 5,627 square feet of the Sage at National Landing, located at 480 11th Street South. The Arlington eatery will be King Street Oyster Bar’s sixth location, joining shops in Leesburg and Middleburg in Virginia, NoMa and City Ridge in DC, and Potomac, Maryland on the company’s roster.

The restaurant, which was awarded the distinction of “Best Happy Hour in the Washington Metropolitan Area” by the Washington City Paper, first began feeding hungry customers in Leesburg in 2016. King Street garnered a devoted fan-following thanks to its superior oysters. The company’s website states “We offer the freshest and widest variety of oysters! On any given day, we offer 10+ varieties, which we get no more than 24 hours out of water from the East Coast, and no more than 48 hours out of water from the West Coast.”
