DC travelers will soon be able to enjoy some of the DMV region’s finest bagels on their daily commute. Bullfrog Bagels, beloved for its superior interpretation of the titular carbs, is opening a new location in Union Station later this year, reports popular Twitter user @eat_dc.

The shop will occupy 800 square feet of the transportation hub  located at 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE. “It’s a fantastic location”, Bullfrog Bagels owner Jeremiah Cohen tells What Now DC, adding “There’s a lot of foot traffic at Union Station and bagels are a really good train food, especially in the morning.”

Bullfrog Bagels will provide an excellent option for commuters hungry for high-quality, delicious cuisine on-the-go. Cohen describes the establishment’s fare as: “Excellent bagels and bagel sandwiches. We do all of our own deli meats-pastrami, corn beef-all are made from scratch at our commissary. The deli meats that go onto the bagels are really excellent and people like them alot. We make quality bagels with wonderful toppings, and wonderful bagelwiches.”

Construction has not yet commenced on the bagel shop. While an opening timeline is not currently available, Cohen states that build-outs generally take a few months. In the meantime, diners can grab a delicious Bullfrog’s bagel from one of it’s other locations: the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill, the H Street Atlas District, Tastemakers in Brookland, Tenleytown, and the Western Market at Foggy Bottom.
