DC residents are seeing signs of life in their pursuit of delicious, fast-casual Mexican cuisine. Chipotle, which has been enjoying considerable expansion and growth this year, is opening a new location later this summer, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The unstoppable chain will be doling out guacamole and queso at 1150 First Street, NE, on the ground floor of the upscale The Hale apartment building. While a precise opening timeline is not currently available, Chipotle’s signage has been placed, suggesting diners won’t have to wait much longer to satisfy their cravings for the brand’s signature bowls and burritos.

Chipotle is no stranger to the DC area. The popular chain currently has 22 locations spread across the District, and once the NoMa location opens, that count will hit 23. The Mexican juggernaut, which launched in Denver in 1993, has grown to include 3381 stores in the United States alone. It has consistently won diners over with its assembly line approach to burritos, quesadillas, and bowls, allowing customers to curate their meals to their tastes.
