The sound of hammers hitting nails in Olney will soon indicate the coming of delicious mediterranean cuisine. Mezeh, known for its fresh approach to fast-casual dining, is preparing to begin construction on its new neighborhood home, reports local media outlet Taste DMV.

The popular concept is moving into 18129 Town Center Drive. The eatery is taking over the space vacated by The Olney Winery. Renovations have not yet begun on the space, however external activity suggests the project will soon be underway. While an official opening timeline is not yet available, Mezeh is looking to begin greeting guests in 2025.

Founded in 2012, Mezeh prides itself on its freshly made in-house ingredients. The concept’s website declares its mission statement as: “to provide customers fresh, created-in-house daily, exceptionally crafted Mediterranean food at a great price in an environment that pushes the fast-casual envelope.”

Mezeh’s menu, which allows customers to curate their ideal meal by selecting a base of greens or grains, protein, toppings, and sauces, has earned the concept a considerable fan following. The restaurant now has over 40 locations.
