What better way to greet a Falls Church autumn than with fresh, hot chicken? Nationally beloved chain Raising Cane’s is preparing to make that dream a reality for local diners, when it opens in October.

The restaurant will be located at 6363 Seven Corners Center in the former Dogfish Head Alehouse building. Raising Cane’s website states the official opening date for the Falls Church eatery is October 3.

Cane’s currently has nine locations in Virginia and several more spread across the DMV region. The chain has been in intensive expansion mode over the past few years and has quickly established itself as a name to watch in fast-casual chicken.

Founded in Louisiana in 1996, Raising Cane’s has developed an ardent fan following, thanks to its simple but effective menu. Visitors can choose between a chicken sandwich or chicken tenders, made fresh to order. Sides include Texas Toast, crinkle cut fries, and coleslaw. Self-proclaimed Caniacs are particularly passionate about the restaurant’s signature Cane sauce.
