A popular Virginia Thai restaurant is getting a second chance at feeding hungry residents. Thanida Thai, which lost its home to the Montgomery Center redevelopment, is getting a new start in Braddock, reports local media outlet ALXNow.

The move will not be too dramatic; Thanida is opening at 1200 North Fayette Street, less than a mile from its original location at 835 North Royal Street. The concept has not shared a grand opening date, saying only that the new restaurant is “coming soon”.

Thanida Thai first opened in 2016 to rave reviews. The restaurant describes its fare and ethos on its website, stating “We serve authentic Thai cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds. Our dishes are made with fresh ingredients and traditional Thai spices, ensuring an explosion of flavors in every bite. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries or savory stir-fries, we have something for everyone. Come visit us and experience the best Thai food in town.”
