The news about Loaded Dice Brewery relocating to Clawson has been up in the air for a while. Based on the latest updates from the business, the Clawson site at 400 S. Main St. has made significant construction progress and is anticipated to open in the late spring or early summer of 2024. The Troy brewery will continue to open and operate throughout the construction until the business is ready to move.

The new 7,800-square-foot space will provide more capacity for Loaded Dice Brewery to increase its production and taps while introducing wine, mead, and cider options. The new location will feature a small kitchen, an event space, and an outdoor beer garden with fire pits and a community space.

“Our new space will allow us to continue this and create one of the premier brewery experiences in the area. We will continue to offer more events, activities and other unique things that we have gained a reputation for,” Jef Smith, Owner, said in a press release.

Clawson, after being a brewery-free zone since 2019, appears to be gaining traction among brewers. The growing passion for craft beers in the community creates a vibrant environment for breweries to thrive. “When looking for our next space, it was important for us to find a location that was already part of a vibrant community and within a short distance of a residential neighborhood,” said Smith in a press release.

In addition to Loaded Dice Brwery, Grand River Brewery is taking over the old Pumachug space and hopes to open a new brewery in early 2024. It is safe to say that the tight community in Clawson is looking at a prosperous future full of cold beer and good vibes.
