Many businesses are planning to start 2024 anew, and Kitchen 67 is one of them. The restaurant, located at 1977 E Beltline Ave NE, is owned by Johnny Brann Jr., grandson of Michigan steakhouse chain Brann’s Steakhouse and Grille founder John Brann Sr.

Recognizing dining trends in recent years, Brann Jr. plans to unveil a refreshed Kitchen 67 in 2024 with a new menu. The restaurant opened in 2013 and was known for its tech-forward approach with a menu it referred to as “progressive American fare.” The concept was a bold venture away from the Brann family’s well-known suite of casual family steakhouses.

Kitchen 67 made quite a splash when it first opened with its wireless charging stations, customizable LED monitors across the ceiling, and iPads on every table, as well as its healthy menu. After operating for over a decade, the restaurant will unveil a new look that creates a more homey experience, including a new paint job, fresh artwork, new lighting and greenery, and new ceiling elements provided by acoustic solutions company BuzziSpace.

The restaurant’s menu will also undergo major updates. While some all-time favorites will remain mostly the same but with a “new flavor profile,” diners will also find a tasty lineup of new main courses such as shrimp ravioli, vodka penne, seafood dishes, roasted half chicken, pork tenderloin, bistro tenderloin. The restaurant will also add a handful of new appetizers.

In addition to Kitchen 67, Brann Jr. also owns a Brann’s Steakhouse at 401 Leonard St. NW, Woodrow’s Duckpin Bowling, a duckpin bowling center and lounge, and Interphase Interiors, an interior design firm and Haworth dealer.
