Sir Pizza Waterford closed this February, announcing an upcoming relocation. Leasing materials and a Facebook announcement now indicate the beloved pizzeria will reopen inside Walton Center at 4674 W Walton.
Owned by Jeff and Kyle Howard, Sir Pizza Waterford took everyone by surprise when it temporarily shut its doors in February. Loyal diners have been waiting for the restaurant to reopen. The restaurant serves classic round and square pizzas, subs, salads, pasta, seafood, BBQ Ribs, various sides, and rotating homemade desserts.
The business updated on Facebook last week, indicating they’re now “waiting on permits” and “once we get the all O.K. We will start working on the new building.” The post said the owners are hoping to reopen in April. The Waterford Sir Pizza is not associated with the Sir Pizza of Michigan franchise location.
What Now Detroit reached out to Jeff Howard for more information about the new space but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. For more updates as the business approaches reopening, follow Sir Pizza on Facebook or visit their website.
