A new Red Olive Restaurant has submitted permit applications with the City of West Bloomfield for a new location off West Maple Road and Haggerty Road. Leasing and application materials indicate the new restaurant will occupy a 3,064-square-foot space and is anticipated to open in Q4 of 2024.

The Red Olive restaurant brand is owned and operated by Pete Goulas and Casey Dilip. The chain currently has 15 locations throughout southeast Michigan, including several in the metro-Detroit region. The chain is known for its extensive breakfast menu that includes 15 different omelets, a handful of skillets and specialty items, as well as crepes and other sweet options. The chain also serves lunch items such as burgers and wraps.

While Red Olive offers partnership opportunities for individuals to become owner/operators, the upcoming West Bloomfield location appears to be directly owned by Goulas according to application materials.

Darryl Goodwin of Goodwin Real Estate Advisors represented the restaurant and Mid-America Real Estate Michigan represented the landlord in the deal. What Now Detroit reached out to Goulas for comments but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
