While overall information is limited and an opening date has yet to be confirmed, Mis Raices will come to Kennewick from Mis Raices Cafe by Legacy, LLC, according to the permit filing.

Listed on the permit filing and the registered agents for Mis Raices Cafe by Legacy LLC according to Bizapedia are two people, J Felix Alvarez and Susana Montenegro. The business filing for Mis Raices Cafe by Legacy LLC was filed approximately two months ago in September.

When cross-referencing Bizapedia’s records for Susana, there are multiple businesses listed with her as a potential registered agent. Another business in the state of Washington that is listed is Montenegro LLC, which is also listed as active.

For J, according to Washington’s Business Search, there are three companies listed with his name as the agent. Legacy Barber Shop was incorporated back in 2022 according to the business search, with the business Facebook’s posts beginning back in August of 2019.

When looking at the property for Mis Raices, the address listed is also the address formerly housing Eat Hot Tamales. According to a Facebook post from Eat Hot Tamales from 2018, their drive-thru became open for business at this location.

Their website lists this location as a drive-thru-only option. However, the Kennewick location is now closed and has since moved to a new Richland location that is open to the public.
