According to a recently submitted permit application, Burger King is expanding in San Antonio.

The international chain is planning to debut a new outpost at 18030 Wurzbach Parkway, near establishments such as Babe’s Old Fashioned Food, DeeWillie’s BBQ, and Dutch Bros Coffee.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Ali Sutaria, the franchisee behind the location — as well as an outpost in Floresville that was constructed in 2021, according to Wilson County News — but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing shares that the “construction of new stand-alone fast-food restaurant” is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, and finish on July 1, 2025. For an estimated $100,000, local firm ZDA Architecture will carry out the project.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
