According to a recently submitted permit application, Southwest pizzeria chain Pizza Patron is planning to debut a new outpost in San Antonio.

Coming to 9355 Culebra Road, the shop will land near establishments such as Domino’s Pizza, El Pollo Loco, and Las Palapas-Tezel.

The filing states that renovations are scheduled to begin on June 24 and finish on August 29, 2024. For an estimated $300,000, the work will be carried out by Minnesota-based firm Wilkus Architects.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Pizza Patron, the business shares, “In 1986, the idea to infuse the bold flavors of Latin culture with pizza was born,” on its website.

Best known for its dough, the introduction continues, “We proof our dough for 12 hours so the yeast and sugars create the best flavor and texture profile. You can taste the difference, whether Classic, Maíz, or Thin crust.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
