According to MySA, Double A Barbecue has ended its residency at Shady Lady Saloon and is now “on the move.”

The concept’s owner, Adrian Davila, tells What Now San Antonio, “We left Shady Lady as of last week. So now me and Justin Bluhm of STX BBQ are collaborating… We’re doing a lot of live fire experiences and a lot of catering, we’re setting up pop-up dates across the city. Next Thursday we’ll be at Brooster’s Backyard Icehouse.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with Double A, the food truck and pop-up concept specializes in barbeque but has recently become known for its barbeque smash burgers topped with smoked brisket or pulled pork, as well as its specialty tacos — for example, barbeque brisket guisada served on a fresh flour tortilla.

“I do still have the food truck,” Davila continues, sharing that he’s hoping to find it a new home in the coming weeks — “I’m always open to any opportunity.”
