Spare Feet is planning a major expansion into San Antonio’s Far West Side, with a proposed $10 million self-storage and flex-space development at 11615 Potranco Road, San Antonio, TX 78253.

According to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) records, the project, listed as Spare Feet San Antonio, will involve new construction of a 148,000-square-foot facility. The development is expected to include 14 self-storage flex-space units.

The project is privately funded and is being developed on private land for private use. Records list M2B San Antonio LLC, based in Houston, as the property owner. Stephen Meyer is listed as the contact who filed the project information, while Kaufman Design Group Inc. is identified as the design firm.

Construction is scheduled to begin November 26, 2026, with an estimated completion date of November 30, 2027. The project is currently listed as registered, and the timeline represents projected construction dates rather than a confirmed opening announcement.

Spare Feet operates a self-storage business offering solutions for personal and business storage needs. According to the company’s website, its services include traditional storage units, climate-controlled storage, RV and boat storage, and flex spaces. The company also promotes features such as video surveillance, flexible leases, online rental management, and 24-hour access, although available amenities vary by facility.

The company’s website currently lists locations in Amarillo, Abilene, Odessa, and Wichita Falls, Texas. The proposed San Antonio development would add another market to its existing portfolio.

Further details about the planned Potranco Road facility, including its specific unit configurations, pricing, amenities, and anticipated opening date, have not yet been announced.
