Chicken Salad Chick is planning another San Antonio-area restaurant, with the popular fast-casual chain set to join Alamo Hills Shopping Center at 1230 Austin Highway, near Alamo Heights.

According to the San Antonio Culturemap, Foresite Commercial Real Estate confirmed that the restaurant has signed on to the shopping center located at 1230 Austin Hwy.

An opening date has not been announced, though the location is not expected to open before the second quarter of 2027.

Founded by Stacy Brown, Chicken Salad Chick began as a home-based operation in Auburn, Alabama, where Brown prepared chicken salad for friends and local businesses. In 2008, she and her late husband, Kevin Brown, opened a small takeout café. The concept has since grown into a nationwide franchise with more than 330 locations across 22 states.

The brand first entered the San Antonio market through an eight-unit development.

WhatNow reached out to Chicken Salad Chick for additional information but had not received a response at the time of publication. The article will be updated if further details become available.
