A new upscale full-service restaurant is preparing to open its doors in West Park. Launching at 2615 S State Rd 7, Eden Restaurant will serve a menu that draws on various cuisines, particularly those of West Africa, offering an “enhanced immersive dining experience that evolves throughout the day.”
“By day, guests are surrounded by lush green foliage, creating a serene oasis,” says a description on the Eden Restaurant website. “As evening falls, our flexible private dinner hall transforms. Using cutting-edge video technology to surround you with stunning, lifelike scenery. Whether you’re enjoying a garden brunch or an enchanted dinner in a virtual tropical waterfall, Eden offers a multi-sensory journey that elevates your meal and takes you on a delicious vacation escape from the comfort of your seat.”
The above experience will be for the restaurant’s prix fixe menu. Many of the details on the food are still largely under wraps, but some info has been revealed.
“We’re going to be introducing a lot of West African cuisine,” owner Cheryl Conteh told What Now on Friday.
Prix fixe menus listed on the brand’s website include Edens Whisper (3-course meal featuring a chicken entrée), Edens Bloom (4-course meal with a choice of fish or beef as the main entrée), and Edens Flame (4-course meal, fish or beef as the main entrée, champagne toast and personalized dessert).
“We’re hoping to do a soft opening in May,” Conteh said. “Then in early summer we’ll do a full launch.”
