Vicky Bakery is expanding its South Florida footprint with a new location at Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood.
The longtime Cuban bakery is opening at 3501 Oakwood Boulevard, Hollywood, adding another food-and-beverage tenant to the busy shopping center just east of I-95. An opening date for the new Vicky Bakery has not yet been announced. According to Kimco Realty, the 2,200 square foot space is located at space 47 of the shopping center.
Founded in 1972, Vicky Bakery has grown from a neighborhood bakery into a South Florida staple known for Cuban pastries, croquetas, pastelitos, empanadas, cakes, sandwiches and its signature Cuban coffee.
The Plaza is also home to HomeGoods, Marshalls, Home Depot, and more. Oakwood Plaza continues to add major new tenants. Total Wine & More recently opened at the center, bringing its extensive selection of wine, spirits and beer to the plaza.
Another significant addition is on the way: Dick’s House of Sport, the experiential retail concept from Dick’s Sporting Goods, is preparing to open at Oakwood Plaza. The large-format stores combine traditional sporting goods retail with interactive experiences designed to let customers try products and participate in sports-related activities.
Together, the new arrivals are adding fresh energy to the established Hollywood retail destination, which already includes a mix of national retailers, restaurants and entertainment concepts.
