A Bethlehem restauranter is making sure Macungie diners can still get their pizza fix after a popular local parlor closed last fall. Sonny Shah, the mind behind Broad Street Pizzeria & Restaurant, is opening a new concept called Main Street Pizzeria & Pub in the old home of Vince’s Pizza and Pub later this spring, reports local media outlet WFMZ.
The new eatery will be opening in a space at 191 West Main Street with seating for up to 80 customers. Shah is hoping to have Main Street Pizzeria & Pub up and ready to feed locals in time for a May 12 opening. However, the restaurant still requires some repairs and upgrades-including the installation of new televisions-before it will be guest-ready.
Macungie foodies can look forward to grabbing a slice Mondays through Saturdays, from 11 am to 10 pm, and 11 am to 9 pm on Sundays.
Shah is looking forward to joining the local community and all the new opportunities that it will bring. He states: “We are very excited. Macungie is very nice, and we were looking to expand at a location with a liquor license.”
Shah says that the Main Street menu will closely mirror that of Broad Street Pizzeria & Restaurant’s-exciting news for local Italian food enthusiasts. In addition to the pizzas hinted at by the name, the dishes include an impressive array of salads, rolls, strombolis, and calzones. Guests can also choose from a range of burgers, subs, wraps, and pasta dishes.
